Spiral Silo
Technical Features
5 times the base plate thickness for wind resistance.
Double-seam with 30–40mm and sealant ensures 100% moisture protection.
Only one-sixth the weight of concrete silos with lower foundation costs.

Advanced Continuous Seaming Technology
Using auto on site spiral silo forming machine, repeatedly wind and intertwine the galvanised steel strips by 5 layered joint. This results in a spiral rib 30–40 mm wide providing much higher structural stability and load bearing capabilities.
Effective uniform stress distribution minimizes local stress concentration, resulting in increased structural stability and longer silo service life.
IEG is a thin-walled, high-strength steel using galvanized, epoxy and polyurethane coating systems to provide maximum corrosion resistance while the spiral rib and interlocking seam bestows stiffer shells with greater packing area than comparable designs designed only for wear.
They are designed according to the guidelines of DIN, Eurocodes, ATEX and HACCP standards.
• Optimize the bending angle to prevent stress concentration
• Spiral accuracy -Post process dimensional control;
• Neutral layer positioning-Guiding formable limits
• Performing detailed analysis in thin-walled silos with high aspect ratios
• Analyzing longitudinal deformation and stability of shells
• A method to simulate stress and strain distributions under in-Service conditions
• Verifying the long-term reliability of cold-forming processes and designs

Double Seam Spiral Folded Silo
Spiral steel silos apply the prestigious Double Seam spiral folding technology, invented by famous German engineer Xaver Lipp. A seamless spiral is continuously cold-formed from the in-situ steel strip, resulting in a mechanically locked joint that requires no welding – an innovation that increases structural integrity and tightness.

- Sealing & Moisture Protection
Centrally Controlled Storage Integrated Spiral Seam
- Dual-Seal Protection:
Spiral interlock + polymer sealant for an airtight and watertight performance. - Fumigation-Ready:
Ideal for low-temperature pest control of grains, oilseeds, and pulses. - Resilient in Any Environment:
Withstands extreme temperature, aging and moisture. - Better than Conventional Silos:
No weld/bolt leaks, low-maintenance.
- Engineering & Economic Performance
Lightweight, Compact, Cost-Efficient
- Speed of build:
on-site spiral-rolled prefab panels; 2000-ton silo built in <3–7 days. - Compact Layout:
The minimum spacing between the two silos is 500 millimeters, saving space. - Light Foundation Load:
Only 1/6 weight of concrete silos; Light enough for soft soil - High ROI:
Low material & labor costs, short time frame to going into operation, easy to handle.
- Versatile Adaptability
Modular Design to Match Every Storage Condition
- Wide Material Compatibility:
Inner Surface Smooth, optionally Corrosion/Wear Resistant Layer. - Automation Ready:
Pre-defined interfaces for ventilating, monitoring, and conveyor functions. - Flexible Upgrades:
Easily up gradable, expandable in height or capacity. - Reliable Structure:
The spiral engagements confer equal load transmission across the structure.
